(Bristol, VA) – Innovative Technologies, LLC announced today its search for a partner to help conduct critical clinical trials for diagnosis of breast cancer.
It is well-known that the early detection of breast cancer is critical to the outcome of the disease. Currently, physical exams and mammography are used to detect breast cancer.
After six years of pre-clinical research, ITL has come up with a diagnostic test for breast cancer (ITL-1636). It is designed to amplify mammography signals by one hundred times, allowing the detection of very small populations of ductal carcinomas. In addition, the treatment turns the tumor cells the color aqua-marine, for precise surgical removal.
According to Dr. Keith R. Latham, President and Chief Scientist, “This new diagnostic test is a breakthrough for breast cancer detection and follow-on treatment.”
Innovative Technologies, an expanding pharmaceutical company in southwest Virginia, has 38 products in its pipeline, addressing cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease and several other treatment areas. For more information, please visit www.itlpharma.com.
