(Bristol, VA) — Innovative Technologies is ramping up business at its new Global Distribution and Cold Storage (GDCS) facility in Abingdon, Virginia.

GDCS provides logistics solutions, including cross-docking, cold storage, loading, unloading and many other services designed to meet the needs of its customers.

GCDS stores materials under controlled conditions for rapid distribution to priority needs locations. Anticipation of strategic stock, coupled with digital storage records and inventory, allow short response time.

GDCS is ideally located on the I-81 Corridor in Southwest Virginia at Exit 22 in the Washington County Industrial Park, approximately 500 yards from the Interstate off-ramp. An excellent location to serve I-40, I-77, and I-81 distribution and storage region.

GDCS offers over 3200 pallet locations with 680,000 cubic feet of storage space in our freezer. The freezer is well-built and maintains temperatures of minus 10 degrees (F). The facility also has four (4) bay doors with auto-leveling dock plates.

The Driver’s Lounge is complete with showers, washers and dryers, kitchenette, Internet connections, a 42″ plasma screen TV, and more.
